Our Open Wheel Report insider has been with THE RACING ROUND UP SHOW since 1996. Each week, he covers local and national sprint car, midgets, karts and more. His fun-loving and youthful approach makes each segment unique.

He is a racer with over 20 years of experience in karts, mini sprints, legends and sprint cars. He’s come full-circle, returning to competitive karting at Badger Raceway with his son Parker, and races in national events at Daytona Int’l Speedway and Road America.

When time allows, Wesell shares his passion at the track as an announcer for the IRA Outlaw Sprint Car Series.

Away from the track and when not tuning on his karts, he enjoys playing drums and guitar, playing video games and listening to music. He also can be found having a good time pretty much anywhere.
