Jim Tretow
Executive Producer / Host
Jim brings a lifelong passion for all things motorsports to the show.  When not behind the microphone of our show, you can find Jim on FOX Sports as a pit reporter and booth analyst for live broadcast coverage of the ARCA Racing Series, on the public address system and on the big screens at 20 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, on Motor Racing Network’s coverage at the track, working the mic at Road America, traveling out of state for voicework and taking in as many short track events he can.
At the core of the program’s mission of providing local racers their time to shine, Jim keeps the fan’s interest at heart with his curious yet relaxed approach with show guests.

Dean Strom
Dean brings years of experience behind the microphone at Wisconsin short tracks AND at Phoenix International Raceway, Watkins Glen International and other events across the country.  He is also deeply rooted in the area short track scene. Dean is the mobile reporter on mic every Sunday night at Slinger Super Speedway and enjoys covering all forms of racing for the show, including the popular short track report.
Dean has been around racing his whole life. His father Bill Strom was inducted into the Southeast Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame.  Dean is also very adept at stepping into the host chair when Jim is on assignment.

Dave Schmalzer
Broadcast Engineer
Every program is on remote, which requires a lot of equipment and coordination with the station to execute. Dave’s input is invaluable to the show.  The microphones, the broadcast equipment and overall sound and production of the show is his responsibility.  The show would not hit the air without him.
He enjoys covering the NASCAR events for the show at Michigan International Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway.  He is a diehard Richard Petty fan, with an extensive #43 collection.

Dave Hohensee
Drag Racing Reporter
Dave remains active in as a bracket racer in drag racing and brings an energetic and insider’s perspective when it comes to the drag racing report.  Dave covers IHRA, NHRA, bracket racing and invites drag racers on the show to further expose the fastest of all American motorsports.
From his insightful interviews to his sometimes controversial take on oval and straightline racing, Dave keeps the crowd up to speed without red lighting.

Greg Lepine
Greg is our go-to guy on many levels for the show.  His role has grown from helping with the physical needs of the show to lining up guests, securing after-show giveaway items and building relationships with our valued advertisers and supporters. His outgoing and positive attitute infuses the show with energy both at the program and at the track.
Greg can also be heard on the show as a reporter, as he covers several short tracks and series.

Matt Rupena
Associate Producer
Matt is a valuable member of the show staff, as he works directly with Dave Schmalzer our show engineer on getting the show on the air, he manages the webcast, plugs in our phone guests, sets the lighting and more.  Matt has a great attitude and professionalism, and jumps in wherever needed with knowledge and creativity.

Shari Prag
Webmaster/Social Media/Photographer
Shari brings her talents to the show each week with a positive, fresh approach.  She is a go-getting multi-tasker who created and updates our website and posts guest updates on photos during the show on facebook.  She helps with guest coordination and the post-show prize giveaways each week.
Shari is an avid motorsports photographer and captures images of guests at the show.  Check out her radio show pics and racing action shots on our website.
